WorldView-4’s First Image

DigitalGlobe released the first public image from its recently launched 30-centimeter-resolution WorldView-4 satellite. Taken on Nov. 26, 2016, the image shows the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo.

Aerojet Rocketdyne Supports Launch of WorldView-4 Commercial Earth Observation Satellite

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Aerojet Rocketdyne, a subsidiary of Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AJRD), successfully supported the launch of WorldView-4, DigitalGlobe’s newest high-accuracy, high-resolution imaging satellite. The mission was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket today. WorldView-4 Successfully Launched

On Nov. 11, 2016, DigitalGlobe’s WorldView-4 commercial imaging satellite was launched aboard an Atlas V rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. About 45 minutes after launch, satellite signals indicated it was in proper position and working order.
