Logan, UT, August 21, 2015 ” Rugged handheld computer manufacturer, Juniper Systems, is seeing a change in leadership as its current President and CEO, Rob Campbell, is stepping aside after fourteen years at the company's head, to accept a position as President of Campbell Scientific, Inc., Juniper Systems' parent company and a world leader in precision measurement and control products. DeVon Labrum, who has served as Juniper Systems' Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the past four years, will be taking Campbell's place as Juniper Systems' new CEO, beginning September 1, 2015.
Labrum has been with Juniper Systems for nearly 18 years, including serving several years on the Board of Directors, bringing with him a considerable amount of experience and industry knowledge. With his new position, Labrum aims to continue the company's focus on high quality and excellent customer service, building upon goals that were set over 20 years ago at the company's early beginnings. Labrum also seeks to lead the company along paths of innovation and diversification, expanding upon Juniper Systems' current product offerings. A part of this diversification is evident in Juniper Systems' recent merge of Cedar Tree Technologies into the company a few short months ago, enabling Juniper Systems to carry Cedar Tree's line of affordable, Android®-operated rugged handhelds.
Having been a part of Juniper Systems for many years now, I feel honored with the opportunity to serve as CEO, said Labrum. Current CEO Rob Campbell said, The decision to leave Juniper Systems and accept the role at Campbell Scientific was a difficult one.
