Large-Format Printing

Hewlett-Packard®  (HP®) has a comprehensive portfolio of services and solutions for public-sector agencies and organizations. HP is aware of the unique missions of government and helps to address key priorities and security challenges by manufacturing all of its wide-format Designjet printer products in compliance with the Trade Agreement Act of 1979 (TAA). With the growth of digital information exchanges, security information management is key. Without compromise, HP has continued to lead and transform the market with the latest in computing and printing technologies by offering TAA-compliant versions of the latest technologies.

Improved User Experience

The new Designjet T2500 eMultifunction Printer (www.hp.com/go/DesignjetT2500) is the latest addition to HP's style innovations in ergonomic design. The printer has a 30 percent smaller footprint than its predecessor, allows users to manage and process complex data, hence delivering an improved user experience across multiple professional disciplines, especially for military, law enforcement, firefighting, disaster recovery missions and geographic information system (GIS) teams. Its compact and accessible frame is ergonomically designed and permits the user to operate all of its functions while in a standing or sitting position. Operationally simple and readily deployable, the HP Designjet T2500 eMultifunction Printer offers a secure wide-format document management system and scan/copy/sharing center in one easy install.

HP designed this new 36-inch device based on extensive engagement with worldwide users early in the development process. Users proposed designs that addressed the pain points they suffer before, during and after the printing process. From this input, HP  identified an integrated output stacking tray and two-roll true front-roll media loading as key areas for enhancement. Manage and share content easily and securely to improve productivity while the output stacking tray helps eliminate output clutter.

For small to medium workgroups, the compact HP  Designjet T2500 eMultifunction Printer offers scan and copy capabilities, a stacking tray that collates up to 50 sheets of any ANSI/ARCH size media, automatic paper-roll alignment with operating speeds up to 21 seconds per A1/D print (economode). In addition, the printer is equipped with 128GB of virtual memory space to process complex files and faster print speed as well as a 320GB self-encrypting hard drive (TAA- compliant model only).

Data Protection and Deployability

HP  Designjet printers provide IT managers at any institution with the peace of mind that all their valuable and sensitive data are properly protected. While delivering high print quality, performance and reliability, all of the HP  Designjet printers offer data protection features ranging from advanced security measures to compliance and certification assurance. These security features make the HP Designjet printer series particularly well suited to being deployed into environments where secure network management, data transfer, printer access and data erasure are important. In addition, these devices have been deployed to remote locations to support customer missions, including the military, firefighting, law enforcement and disaster recovery. Designjets have been mounted on vehicles in some of the world's most inhospitable environments. A closed-ink system found on all HP Designjet printers, as well as their solid construction, allows these devices to perform in tough environments often found in the field.
