Nano Hummingbird Takes Flight
Under a contract sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Aerovironment Inc. has created a Nano Air Vehicle (NAV) that mimics the flight capabilities of a hummingbird. The NAV could someday provide new reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities in urban environments. (more)
