North Bethesda, Md., April 10, 2014—PTFS, a leading provider of enterprise content management and library solutions, is proud to announce the upcoming May release of ArchivalWare 5. ArchivalWare 5 brings many new features and enhanced performance for managing digital content, imagery libraries and geospatial data. ArchivalWare is PTFS’ award-winning Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system used by agencies, corporations and libraries worldwide to manage their digital content and provide broad but controlled accessibility. ArchivalWare GS is the same ECM with geospatial visualization and tools for managing imagery and geospatial data types. Both ArchivalWare and ArchivalWare GS are released in this version 5.
Key features in ArchivalWare 5.0 include an improved user interface and search GUI that allows dynamic tabular results and consolidated view. Customizable content enrichment and a clipboard for saving, organizing and viewing work and orders makes the content management process faster and easier. Additionally, ArchivalWare 5.0 performance is improved and the administration interaction is enhanced and simplified.
“We see the new release as a significant step in supporting our broadening customer base”, says Brett Smith, PTFS VP Engineering. “Not only does ArchivalWare 5 introduce a fresh GUI with improved workflow, but it also includes architectural changes that align our product family with current market strategies and patterns.”
With the new release, PTFS continues its mission of providing high quality, digital information systems in support of our customers’ missions.
