PCI Geomatics Releases Geomatica and GXL 2018, SP1

PCI Geomatics announced the release of Service Pack 1 for Geomatica and GXL 2018, the company’s flagship software for complete and integrated desktop and enterprise geoimage processing.

Geomatica features tools for remote sensing, digital photogrammetry, geospatial analysis, mosaicking, and more that can be deployed through the Geomatica desktop, Python workflows, or through large-volume-production GXL systems.

The service pack provides new capabilities and enhancements that further strengthen the key development areas for the Geomatica 2018 software release:

  • Analysis Ready Data Tools (ARD) which addresses critical requirements for performing authoritative and scientifically accurate single-image analysis and multitemporal analytics.
  • Advanced photogrammetric capabilities which streamline and speed up aerial production projects with digital-frame and push broom cameras.
  • In this service pack improved support has been added for Superview-1, Sentinel-1 and Gokturk-1.
