Trimble Appoints Sandra MacQuillan to Board of Directors

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) announced today it has appointed Sandra MacQuillan to serve on its Board of Directors effective Oct. 5, 2018.

"Sandra's breadth of background, together with her specific domain knowledge, enables her to be a strong contributor on the Trimble board. Her complete understanding of supply chain economics and challenges will provide a source of unique insight to our transportation and logistics business. In addition, her extensive hands-on global experience will allow her to be an active collaborator in developing Trimble's international strategy."

MacQuillan is currently senior vice president and chief supply chain officer at Kimberly-Clark Corporation with responsibility globally for procurement, manufacturing, logistics, quality, safety and sustainability.

From 2009 to 2015, MacQuillan served as global vice president, supply chain for Global Petcare, a $15 billion business of Mars, Incorporated and was responsible for procurement, manufacturing, engineering and logistics. During her tenure at Mars, she also served in a variety of operations and supply chain roles since joining the company in 1994. Prior to Mars, she held positions in engineering, sales, manufacturing and business development at ExxonMobil Corporation from 1989-1994. MacQuillan has extensive international experience in procurement, technology and engineering, and has lived and worked in the UK, Czech Republic, Russia, Middle East, Belgium and now in the U.S.

MacQuillan earned her bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with honors from the University of Greenwich, UK and was awarded Chartered Engineer status from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, London. She is a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts and a Fellow of The Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

In addition to her role at Kimberly-Clark, MacQuillan currently serves on the SCM World Executive Advisory Board and The Board of Trustees for Atlanta International School, Atlanta, Georgia.
