Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, June 27, 2013”Safe Software, makers of FME®, the leading spatial data transformation technology, today announced that with the assistance of its Value Added Reseller (VAR) partners it has wrapped up another successful FME World Tour in 2013. Through events hosted in 49 cities around the globe over 2,000 attendees were given the opportunity to learn about FME and the highlights of the 2013 release directly from experts, as well as to network with other users.
Each event consisted of a series of presentations on topics that ranged from the more general FME overview and outline of the new version, to the more focused customer success stories and specific functionality. Based on feedback, attendees overall found the presentations interesting and informative and felt that the FME World Tour was a worthwhile event to attend to learn about the diverse ways the product can be used.
The meetings also had an interactive element, giving attendees a chance to network with FME Certified Professionals and other FME users, and ask questions and exchange ideas.
“It was a great event with great presentations from all the presenters,” says Candy Lam of Pelmorex Media who attended the event in Toronto. “It was also a great networking opportunity to see how everyone uses FME in different sectors.”
