By combining a motion-compensated Optech ILRIS and a Teledyne RESON SeaBat multi-beam echo sounder on a research vessel, Codevintec mapped the wreck both above and below the surface of the water in a single pass, employing specialized software to merge and visualize their data in real time and provide the final data to the crisis team within hours of their arrival.
