One webinar attendee will be selected at random to win a location-enabled Google Nexus 7 tablet.

“Geospatial organizations face unique Big Data challenges in making location-specific intelligence accessible anytime, anywhere to their personnel and the public,” said GCS Founder and President Alex Philp, PhD. “This webinar will show organizations how they can leverage the GPS-enabled devices that most of us already carry to transform their business processes.”

To register for the second GCS Geospatial Big Data webinar, visit the new GCS website at  The free one-hour webinar will be broadcast live at 3 pm (U.S. Eastern Daylight Time) on Thursday, August 15, 2013, and will include a Q&A session.

In the second Geospatial Big Data webinar, GCS will demonstrate how it builds mobile applications as part of Big Data solutions for organizations that collect, disseminate and communicate location-specific data with field crews, remote personnel, consumers and target audiences. This webinar will discuss how to devise a framework, architecture and strategy for building a mobile solution that helps an enterprise operate more effectively and efficiently.

The webinar will feature the GCS Montana Parcel App as well as two other mobile applications that utilize geo-fencing for retail marketing and augmented reality for geospatial visualization.

Attendees will learn to:

ü  Transform business operations with location-enabled mobile technology

ü  Facilitate real estate and land transactions by accessing parcel information from multiple web-enabled databases

ü  Increase sales by delineating ‘geo-fences’ around retail sites for one-to-one push advertising

ü  Expedite utility field work by using augmented reality to visualize geospatial data.

GCS will sponsor additional Geospatial Big Data webinars in the coming months focused on developing solutions to the unique big data challenges of GIS applications by leveraging location analytics, mobile platforms, and cloud technologies.
