Andre Trudel Named President of Korem’s New Business Consulting Division

QUÉBEC CITY – André Trudel, a well‑known figure in the fields of business development and high‑performance management, is joining Korem as President of the company’s brand‑new business consulting division.

“André is a proven leader who knows how to motivate and drive colleagues, and achieve ambitious goals,” said Sébastien Vachon, Korem’s founder, chairman and CEO. “The whole Korem family is proud and excited to broaden our services by launching a new business consulting division with such an important player at the helm.”

Over the past two decades, André Trudel has leveraged his integrity, versatility and innate knack for communications to make his mark on the business world. He has demonstrated his energetic management approach in every position he has held, whether in large business consulting firms or promising start‑ups.

In close synergy with the geospatial solutions sales and integration team, André will be tasked with developing and implementing a strategic plan to accelerate Korem’s growth through new consulting services in geolocation—a field in which skyrocketing demand far outstrips available expertise in North America.

“Our clients and partners share their needs with us, and we have the experience and know‑how to put forward a team that is able to make a huge difference in their projects,” explained Vachon, who said he has his sights set on doubling Korem’s sales in the next five years.

Jean‑Sébastien Guy, Korem’s president since 2019, will continue to masterfully oversee the sale of geospatial solutions, which has formed the bedrock of the company’s success and reputation for more than 25 years.

Since 1993, Korem has been creating long‑term value for its clients, employees and partners through innovation and geospatial expertise. Major North American companies like AT&T, Shell, Bell and Desjardins rely on Korem every day to make informed decisions and enhance their efficiency. With its unique one-stop-shop experience, Korem is driving the adoption of geospatial technology and reducing risk. Its talented and multidisciplinary team of 80 experts shares unique business perspectives and neutral recommendations that help map out a promising future for its clients. As a value‑added reseller, Korem offers the most comprehensive and diverse portfolio of geospatial solutions, including Precisely, HERE, Google, Alteryx, CARTO, CoreLogic, Tableau, Environics, Safe Software, Digital Map Products, BuildingFootprintUSA and ReportAll.
