Telops Announces New Subsidiary: Telops France

QUEBEC, CANADA, June 25, 2014”Telops, leader in the field of high performance infrared cameras and hyperspectral imaging systems for the Defense and Security, Environmental, Industrial and research markets, is pleased to announce it has opened a new subsidiary in France named Telops France. Mr. Éric Guyot, an experienced commercial and product manager in the infrared camera market, has been appointed General Manager and is responsible for Business Development in Europe as well as the infrared camera product line. This permanent presence will result in a strengthened position for Telops in France as well as in the European market.

Mr. Guyot has over twenty (20) years of experience working for companies which provide infrared imagery and spectroscopy instrumentation. Throughout his career he has been responsible for engineering, product and business development. More recently, he was responsible for security and surveillance imaging products at FLIR ATS where he developed a complete line of cameras for integrators and as well as a multi-sensor system for ground and maritime surveillance which contributed to a significant increase in market share. We are thrilled that Éric has joined the Telops team in Europe, his experience and skill set is highly complementary to our current product offering and his insights will be invaluable in successfully attaining our projected growth, says Jean Giroux, President and General Manager of Telops.

Telops France will be moving into its new offices at La Morangeraie, 6 rue du Dr. Schweitzer, 91420 Morangis at the beginning of September.
