by | Jun 25, 2014

CLEVELAND, June 18, 2014”Scene Sharpâ„¢ USA has signed Flex Analytics as the first distributor of its Fuze Goâ„¢ universal image fusion software technology. The distribution agreement allows Flex Analytics to sell the Fuze Go MS Sharp and Fuze Go SAR Sharp software packages to commercial and government clients, as well as integrate them with custom technical solutions, in the United States.

Flex Analytics is a well-established multimedia analytics company with deployments in the commercial geospatial market and inside the federal government, said Kevin Marasch, Fuze Go Client Distribution Manager. Flex Analytics gives Scene Sharp USA access to markets that are difficult to reach.

Based in Maryland with offices in Reston, VA, Flex Analytics is focused on reselling analytical products and solutions for government and industry that target Big Data and big problems in multimedia analytics. The firm partners with companies that build forward-leaning technology that exploits important information locked away within the client's imagery, video, audio and other multimedia content. Flex Analytics provides advanced product and solution architectures built on state-of-the-art image, video, and audio processing technology. These products and solutions are available on the GSA schedule.

We plan to incorporate the Fuze Go technology into airborne solutions we are developing for clients in the ISR [Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance] market, said Gregory B. Pepus, Managing Partner of Flex Analytics. Fuze Go has the tremendous ability to improve image quality without subtracting information content from it.

Pepus added that Flex Analytics will also sell Fuze Go software tools directly to clients within the ISR and broader defense/intelligence communities. In addition, Pepus is positioning the Fuze Go products for sales within the public safety market.

A division of PraEis Ltd., Scene Sharp USA introduced version 2.0 of the Fuze Go product line last month at GEOINT 2013*. PraEis Ltd. is a geospatially focused technology transfer organization with offices in Ohio and New Hampshire USA.

Fuze Go is a fully automated technology that enables users to quickly and easily fuse data sets to add color to non-colorized satellite and aerial imagery with just a few mouse clicks. By colorizing image data, GIS users can visualize and extract richer information content from remotely sensed data to make better informed decisions. With their seamless integration into existing image exploitation workflows, Fuze Go products can have immediate impacts in defense/intelligence, homeland security, mining, agriculture, forestry and oil & gas applications.

The market for Fuze Go products includes individual GIS users, geospatial service providers, value added resellers, systems integrators and satellite ground station operators, said Marasch.

The Fuze Go product line currently includes two products, Fuze Go MS Sharp for use with multispectral imagery and Fuze Go SAR Sharp for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data. Fuze Go MS Sharp and SAR Sharp are available for purchase for an annual license fee. Batch processing versions of the software packages are also offered to perform automatic fusion of multiple optical or SAR scenes.

Flex Analytics sees Fuze Go software playing critical roles in its ˜imagery-on-the-fly' approach to the analytical processing of remotely sensed image data. For airborne ISR, Flex Analytics is focused on integrating technologies so that image data processing and enhancement occur at the sensor while the aircraft is still in flight. The firm is already looking at incorporating the Fuze Go algorithms into its workflows.
