MACOM Announces Teaming Agreement with Northrop Grumman for Radar Deployments

LOWELL, Mass. — M/A-COM Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc. (“MACOM”) (NASDAQ: MTSI), a leading supplier of high-performance analog RF, microwave, millimeterwave and photonic semiconductor products, today announced a teaming agreement that establishes MACOM as Northrop Grumman Corporation’s (NYSE: NOC) exclusive teaming partner for the development and manufacture of radar arrays that use MACOM’s active antenna technology to target a wide range of defense programs and platforms.

Northrop Grumman and MACOM have agreed to collaborate on systems that offer customers increased system performance while also focusing on affordability, and doing so across a number of domains.

“This teaming agreement is a major step towards reducing our active antenna vision to commercial practice, while working with one of the industry’s leading defense prime contractors,” said Jack Kennedy, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Aerospace and Defense, MACOM. “MACOM is honored to support critical defense programs with affordable solutions.”
