LizardTech to Exhibit at Texas GIS Forum

SEATTLE, Wash. ” Oct. 23, 2015 ” LizardTech®, the creator of MrSID® and provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, announced today it will exhibit at the Texas GIS Forum in booth number 114 Oct. 26-29, 2015 at the Commons Learning Center at the J.J. Pickle Research Campus in Austin, TX.

 

At the forum, LizardTech will demonstrate how the GIS audience can benefit from its software products. The company's entire line of geospatial products includes recently launched GeoExpress® 9.5, which enables geospatial professionals to compress and manipulate satellite and aerial imagery and now features the ability to compress LiDAR data to MrSID® and LAZ formats. Other products on display include Express Server® software for high-performance delivery and publication and LiDAR Compressorâ„¢ software, which turns giant point cloud datasets into efficient MrSID® files.

 

LizardTech is partnering with RazorTek, a full service provider of data, software and services for the geospatial industry. The Texas Natural Resources Information System and Texas Water Development Board will bring together GIS professionals from the Texas area to discuss the latest developments in the geospatial industry for the Texas GIS Forum.
