We prominently share GIS as an important, valuable tool to prepare the Blue Tech leaders of tomorrow with exciting educational opportunities today.”
“We are honored to be receiving the Educational Outreach Award,” said Drew Stephens, Esri ocean and coastal environments manager. “The Maritime Alliance’s work to connect students and professionals is commendable. We are encouraged by young ocean explorers using GIS to discover sustainable solutions for the ocean.”
To ensure the upcoming work force is well trained to manage oceans resources sustainably and safely, The Maritime Alliance supports education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through its OceanSTEM program.
