City of San Diego Selects Lemur to Deliver GIS Asset Data and Location to Mobile Work Teams

Denver, CO - Lemur’s™ ability to provide a full GIS experience to field workers while offline and to centrally-manage offline GIS data were key factors in selecting Lemur™.

Critigen, the global leader in unifying GIS and SAP data, today announced the City of San Diego (CoSD) as the most recent licensee of its Lemur™ Platform.  The City will use Lemur™ to put essential asset data and location information in the hands of its mobile workforce. Offline access to data in the enterprise GIS will ensure San Diego’s Public Utilities, Transportation, and Storm Water crews can access essential engineering and location information in the event of emergency, and in network dead zones, while reducing cellular data costs.

Adoption of the Lemur™ platform is a component of the Infrastructure Asset Management San Diego (I AM SD) Program which includes the implementation of an integrated Infrastructure Asset Management solution using the SAP suite of EAM tools and Esri GIS to more effectively and sustainably manage infrastructure assets.

Critigen Lemur™ is a configurable mapping platform bringing enterprise-class GIS mapping to mobile Work Management tools. The Lemur™ Platform includes a configuration-driven map control that can be embedded in mobile work management tools, Lemur™ Geocache for centralized management of offline GIS data and a Geoenricher for adding location and other information from the GIS to data sourced from other business systems.  Available as a service or as on-prem software, Lemur™ delivers the lowest TCO, fast and simple implementation, and is easier to maintain than any alternative.

Additional information on the Lemur™ Platform can be found at critigen.com/lemur.
