Geographic Technologies Group – January Accomplishments

GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Geographic Technologies Group® (GTG®) has contracted and completed several projects for clients this January.

Software:

Hoffman Estate Parks District- Has acquired the Parks and Recreation GIS suite, GreenCityGIS. GreenCityGIS is built around the Esri GIS software suite and includes a park asset inventory, intranet applications, public facing applications, dashboards, and integration with Vermont Systems Parks and Recreation software.

Central Dakota Communications Center- Added additional seats of Vantage Points Mobile for total of 61 Mobile Units.

GreenCityGIS is now integrated with Maximum Solutions- Max Galaxy Parks and Recreation Database. If a client is using Max Galaxy, they will now be able to track their members’ activity and locations using GreenCityGIS.

Geographic Technologies Group will be presenting GreenCityGIS for Public Safety at the
East Texas Users Group on February 19th, 2016.

Contracts Won:

City of Bozeman, MT- GIS Services.

City of Concord, CA- Professional GIS Services Contract.

Town of Truckee, CA- GIS Needs Assessment.

Overture – Telecommunications GIS Suite:

In progress on data conversion for Fiber to the Home Network (FTTH) with Morristown Utility Systems, TN, and the City of Ontario, CA.

Worked with Virgin Island Next Generation Network (viNGN) to update the Island of St. Croix’s GIS fiber network.

GIS Services:

Working with Athens-Clarke County, GA and the City of Roswell, GA on their GIS Needs Assessment.

Kickoff meeting with the Town of Snowmass Village, CO involving GIS Services.

Ounalashka Corporation, AK¬- Kickoff meeting for GIS Services.
