Aurora Executives Inducted into AIAA's 2018 Associate Fellows Class

Kissimmee, FL “ Two Aurora Flight Sciences executives were inducted into the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics' (AIAA) 2018 Class of Associate Fellows on January 8. Chief Innovation Officer John Tylko and Chief Operating Officer Matthew Hutchison were among the 134 individuals selected by committee to join the 2018 class.

 

AIAA Associate Fellows are individuals of distinction who have made notable and valuable contributions to the arts, sciences, or technology of aeronautics or astronautics. The distinguished individuals comprising the Class of 2018 Associate Fellows exemplify extraordinary accomplishments and leadership in the global aerospace community, said AIAA President Jim Maser. Each individual has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to furthering the advancement of aerospace science and technology, and each has performed important work that the Institute is proud to recognize.

 

Tylko and Hutchison were honored and inducted with their fellow classmates at a ceremony in Kissimmee, Florida, in conjunction with the 2018 AIAA Science and Technology Forum and Exposition.

The appointment of two Aurora senior executives to AIAA's Associate Fellowship ranks reaffirms Aurora's dedication to the industry and commitment to contributing to the science of aeronautics and astronautics, said Aurora President and CEO John Langford, who is also the President-elect and a Fellow of AIAA.
