ArcGIS Image Server, now known as ArcGIS Server Image Extension, is a fully integrated extension to ArcGIS Server in ArcGIS 9.3 that provides fast access to large quantities of file-based imagery. The imagery is processed on the fly and on demand. With ArcGIS Server Image Extension, users can maximize the value of their imagery by making it quickly accessible without reloading.
