MapStory Creates the Launch Circle to Support Next-Level Growth

MapStory quietly opened up for public registration back in March of 2013. Since then, people from all over the world have uploaded their open data or leveraged the data shared by others to create their own MapStories. In turn, their work has been viewed more than 100 million times across six continents and been featured on major news outlets. This activity has exceeded our expectations by a long shot and has been exciting to watch.

In early 2015 MapStory will re-launch a newly designed platform based on all of this user feedback – bringing their thinking to life.

To support the re-launch, they are organizing a group of founding sponsors – both organizations and individuals – who can help us raise the funds we’ll need in 2015 to manage scale on our servers and to support the awesome community data collection and storytelling projects that are ready and waiting for launch.

If interested in becoming a LaunchCircle member, email directly at marino@mapstory.org
