Atlanta, Aug. 22, 2013—TerraGo, a leading global provider of location intelligence solutions, announced today an expanded management team to work alongside recently appointed President and Chief Executive Officer Chris Broderick.
David Stokely will serve as chief financial officer; David Basil will serve as vice president, products and services; and Michael Gundling will serve as vice president, product management and marketing. Stokely, Basil and Gundling bring to TerraGo deep, operational expertise in driving rapid growth for venture-backed software companies.
“In order to best leverage TerraGo’s rapid growth and industry-leading innovations, we wanted to bolster our management team with executives who have taken other emerging technology companies to the next level,” said Broderick. “These individuals bring proven operational expertise for successfully identifying market opportunities and executing high-growth strategies.”
Stokely brings over 25 years of leadership and experience in financial, IT, sales and operations management. Stokely served as co-founder and CFO of GroupLogic, a mobility software company, where he led several corporate growth initiatives including strategic acquisitions and transitioned the business from traditional software licensing to a Software as a Service (SaaS) subscription model while managing finance, sales and account management operations.
Basil draws from more than 24 years of experience in all facets of operations, including product development, professional services and international operations. Before joining TerraGo, he was the CEO of Red Cloud Security, a cloud-based access control software company, where he more than doubled revenues each year while driving the first wave of market adoption for web-based security solutions that unify physical and logical security.
Gundling possesses over 20 years’ experience in launching market-leading products and award-winning marketing programs. He previously served as chief marketing officer at Metron Aviation, now a subsidiary of Airbus, where he repositioned the company to launch commercial software products to global customers, helped secure the largest small business contract award in FAA history and grew revenue from $17 million to $43 million in two years.
