With its innovative PulseTRAKâ„¢ technology, the compact Optech Galaxy airborne laser mapper eliminates the need to plan around multipulse blind zones by creating a continuous operating envelope that enables users to survey at any altitude and any laser sampling rate without fear of data gaps. Even when terrain elevation changes, the Optech Galaxy automatically maintains an even swath width on the ground by adjusting the sensor's field of view, avoiding gaps between lines and maintaining point density on the ground. Surveyors can also visit the Optech booth to learn how the Optech Titan, the world's first commercial multispectral airborne lidar, can accomplish highly automate d land classification using its separate 532, 1064, and 1550 nm laser channels, or even do combined topographic/bathymetric mapping down to a depth of 15 m in clear conditions.
