Dewberry Promotes Josh Novac

FAIRFAX, Va., Dec. 3, 2013”Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has promoted Josh Novac, GISP to associate in the Denver, Colorado, office. As a project manager, he is responsible for ensuring all major mapping projects are properly staffed, meet Dewberry's quality standards, and are delivered to the client on time.

Novac is experienced in GIS, photogrammetry, and remote sensing; and has managed projects throughout the country, including Florida, New Jersey, Los Angeles County, and South Carolina. He is currently working on mapping California's coastline through a data merge process using topographic LiDAR, bathymetric data, and remote sensing technologies.

Additionally, he assists in the training of Dewberry staff in both production and quality assurance services. Novac has a bachelor's degree in anthropology and a certificate in geographic information science from Indiana University. He is a certified geographic information systems professional and is a member of the American Society for Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing.
