Huntsville, Ala., June 4, 2014”Atlantic, a mapping company specializing in remote sensing, surveying and consulting services, has expanded its capabilities with a new hire, Brian Bugg. Bugg will lead Atlantic's Applied Technology service line, consulting with clients to develop data management solutions, IT, and geospatial applications aimed at improving the way organizations solve business problems through leveraging their data and digital assets. Mr. Bugg has over 10 years of experience as a technology consultant.
Brian's addition to our firm allows Atlantic to provide highly customized business solutions to help our clients succeed. Our role changes from being primarily a data provider to being an end-to-end consulting firm, said Brian Mayfield, President and COO, Atlantic. His expertise will help our clients achieve maximum benefit from their information management systems and geospatial data.
Mr. Bugg holds a Master of Science in Geography / Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Tennessee and has experience as a technology consultant and as a project manager. Bugg was previously with AMEC Environment and Infrastructure, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager and has over a decade of experience in GIS and applied technologies.
