Hallowell, Maine “ Blue Marble Geographics (bluemarblegeo.com) recently concluded a successful exhibit at the China Surveying, Mapping, and Geoinformation Technology Equipment Expo in Nanjing, China. Alongside Blue Marble's Chinese partner Beijing E-Carto Technologies, the company brought its message of affordable, reliable and easy to use GIS to a new market of local GIS companies and government officials. This is the second visit to the People's Republic of China by this Maine-based company, and it underlines the global reach of its innovative GIS software products.

E-Carto provides local language support and services in addition to reselling Blue Marble software.

While in China Blue Marble conducted a one-day LiDAR workshop in partnership with E-Carto. Scheduled to coincide with the Expo, this workshop covered all aspects of point cloud processing using Global Mapper's LiDAR Module.
