EASTON, Md., Oct. 28, 2013”AXIS Geospatial LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Allan Blades to their business development team. Allan comes with a wealth of experience within the geospatial industry, having spent the last seventeen years at BAE Systems where he was instrumental in acquiring numerous geospatial production contracts within the federal government.
Prior to joining AXIS, Allan worked for ERM Inc., RK&K Engineering and 3Di, Inc. Allan is also a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography.
In the role of AXIS' Business Development Director, Allan will focus on the expansion of AXIS' strategic business relationships and identifying new service opportunities to meet the needs of Federal, State, local government and private sector entities for accurate and cost-effective digital mapping & GIS services. Allan will also perform as a Senior Program Manager on large federal contracts.

Allan has 21 years' experience in Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and GIS. He is a member of American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, United State Geospatial Intelligence Foundation and Worldwide Human Geography Working Group. He is also a Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP).
