by | Feb 26, 2014

ILMF 2014 attracted LiDAR professionals from about 30 countries.

Innovative technology was a key focus at this year's International LiDAR Mapping Forum (ILMF), held Feb. 17-19 in Denver. Topics included waveform processing and commercial unmanned aircraft.

ILMF 2014 focused on airborne, terrestrial and bathymetric light detection and ranging (LiDAR) technology used to support transport, urban modeling, coastal zone mapping, utility asset management, 3-D visualization and geographic information system applications. The event included a technical program of 60 technical papers, technical workshops and American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Hot Topics sessions as well as an exhibition of more than 50 organizations showcasing the latest technologies and services for the LiDAR market, some of which were launched at ILMF.
