GREENBELT, Md., June 18, 2013”Orbit Logic announced today a contract award from DigitalGlobe to integrate the GeoEye-1 satellite into Orbit Logic's Direct Access Facility Collection Planning System (DAF CPS) software for DigitalGlobe's Direct Access Program (DAP) customers. The new version of DAF CPS will integrate former GeoEye international ground station partners into standard DigitalGlobe DAP operations and will be available for deployment before the end of 2013. Under the contract, Orbit Logic will also upgrade legacy GeoEye headquarters planning software for integration with the DigitalGlobe headquarters planning processes and systems.
Orbit Logic has provided planning software to both DigitalGlobe and GeoEye for several years, and we look forward to assisting in the merger of planning operations for the combined company, said Alex Herz, president of Orbit Logic.

DigitalGlobe’s Direct Access Program (DAP) establishes trusted partnerships with select defense, intelligence and commercial customers to provide priority access to DigitalGlobe’s constellation of high-resolution earth observation satellites.
