Greenwood Village, Colo., June 20, 2013—Merrick & Company’s geospatial and surveying team (http://www.merrick.com/Geospatial) was awarded an additional task order with Henrico County, VA, to provide  planimetric  feature updates.  These services are in addition to the digital orthophototography, and oblique imagery products previously contracted with Merrick. The ongoing work is part of a three year landbase update program and includes services over 338 square miles. Having worked with Henrico County previously, Merrick’s existing knowledge of the County’s control network, coordinate system, GeoDatabase, and tile structure will ensure meeting the current and future GIS needs of Henrico County.
