PCI Geomatics Hosts International Reseller and Business Partner Meeting

RICHMOND HILL, Ont., Canada, Oct. 23, 2014—PCI Geomatics, a world leading developer of remote sensing and photogrammetric software and systems, is hosting its annual International Reseller and Business Partner Meeting in the Toronto region. This year’s event has attracted PCI resellers and partners from over 15 countries, and features product updates, discussions on industry trends, and partnership initiatives. The event is running from October 20-23, 2014 in King City, Ontario.

The focus of this year’s event is Get More from Imagery, a theme exploring the benefits of working with and developing solutions using PCI’s innovative, high speed, and accurate image processing software suite that includes Geomatica and the GeoImaging Accelerator (GXL). International resellers, business partners, and PCI Geomatics are discussing how to best position their respective businesses for success as more and more geospatial imagery is collected by a multitude of new platforms.  The increase has been driven by business requirements around the world for timely, high-resolution information derived from geospatial imagery.

“The collection, production, and delivery of geospatial imagery is a global business that relies on strong global partnerships,” said Terry Moloney, President and CEO at PCI Geomatics. “The level of participation and engagement at this year’s event has been very positive. We are delighted with the discussions that have been occurring between our staff, our partners and resellers over the course of the week – all attendees have obtained a great amount of benefit from attending the meeting.”

In addition to a keynote address from Alex Miller, President of Esri Canada, the meeting features guest presentations from industry professionals representing organization that include Blackbridge, UrtheCast, MDA Geospatial Services, Cloud Mapping Technology, Pinkmatter, DAT/EM Systems International, and 3C PLC. Networking events, product demonstrations, and training opportunities have been also been presented for the participants.
