Keynote Speaker for Location Intelligence and Oracle Spatial User Conference Announced

Glencoe, Ill., April 24, 2012—Peter Doolan, Oracle’s Group Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Oracle Public Sector, will address the Location Intelligence and Oracle Spatial User Conference attendees on cloud computing trends.

Who: Peter Doolan is the Group Vice President for Oracle’s Public Sector Software. His organization includes the technical and business applications professionals who support Oracle’s sales to government customers in the United States and Canada. The product and industry experts on his staff help public sector organizations exploit information by designing and building comprehensive information management solutions. Many of their innovations have become part of the Oracle product line and are used extensively by Oracle’s customers throughout the world.

Why: In 2012, Directions Magazine and Oracle are collaborating to offer consecutive events over two days in Washington, D.C. First, on May 22, Directions Magazine’s Location Intelligence Conference will offer a multi-track program exploring the latest industry trends. Then, on May 23, the Oracle Spatial User Conference will offer a day of technical deep dives and use case sessions around Oracle’s spatial technologies. Attendees may attend either event on its own, or both together.
